We are seeking a Technical Lead (remote) who will provide clarity, direction, and accountability to our engineering team. This role is not only about execution but also about shaping the technical vision, ensuring code quality, and bridging the gap between business strategy and technical delivery.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for guiding the team toward best practices, establishing strong engineering standards, and creating an environment of trust and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into a clear, actionable technical roadmap.

  • Lead the engineering team in adopting and consistently applying TDD best practices.

  • Design and set up project structures conducive to automated testing and maintainable code.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and guide the team accordingly.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to define task priorities, delivery schedules, and resource allocations.

  • Ensure that architecture and code are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

  •  Conduct regular code reviews, enforce coding standards, and validate technical correctness.

  •  Provide mentorship, set expectations, and hold the team accountable for high-quality deliverables.

  • Establish efficient engineering processes, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and review practices.

  •  Attract, motivate, and retain top engineering talent by creating a culture of excellence and trust.

  •  Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to align technical execution with strategic goals.

  •  Act as a reliable point of accountability for technical decisions, removing the need for micromanagement by business leaders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, or similar leadership role.

  • Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, and modern engineering practices.

  • Excellent coding skills in React JS, React Native, and Node JS (Python is a good to have)

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, code reviews, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ability to set and enforce coding standards and best practices.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to build trust within the team.

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively bridge technical and business discussions.
