As a Salesforce Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial scoping and planning to implementation and post-deployment support. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of Salesforce solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Lead the execution of Salesforce projects ideally SFMC, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and make real-time adjustments to ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular project updates and maintain open lines of communication to manage expectations effectively.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and other project stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
- Develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce best practices in Salesforce development and configuration.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Solicit feedback and ensure client satisfaction with the delivered Salesforce solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal project management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience 4+ years as a Project Manager, specifically leading Salesforce projects.
- Salesforce Administrator or Developer Certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering Salesforce projects on time and within budget.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
